The SHE Show is proud to announce Shirley Parsons as the official event partner for The SHE Show North East—a collaboration that brings together shared values of community, purpose, and advancing health, safety, and wellbeing across industries.

As Shirley Parsons celebrates 21 years of delivering HSE recruitment and consultancy, this partnership represents more than just a milestone. It reflects a deeper commitment to making a meaningful impact—both within the profession and beyond.

A Partnership with Purpose

At the heart of this collaboration is a powerful cause. Shirley Parsons is currently leading a fundraising initiative to support Leukaemia UK, with an ambitious target of £21,000.

This effort has been inspired by a deeply personal story. In March 2025, a long-standing member of the Shirley Parsons team, Shona Paterson, received the devastating news that her son, Thomas, had been diagnosed with leukaemia. Since then, Thomas has shown remarkable courage—channelling his experience into raising awareness and supporting others facing similar challenges.

Leukaemia UK receives no government funding and relies entirely on public generosity to fund life-saving research, improve treatments, and support families navigating the disease.

Silent Auction at The SHE Show North East

As part of this partnership, The SHE Show will host a Silent Auction during the North East event, with all proceeds going directly to Leukaemia UK.

Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on exclusive experiences delivered by an outstanding lineup of speakers, including:

  • Rob Muldoon – Mental Health and Wellbeing
  • Guy Bloom – Behaviour and Culture Change
  • Kate Richardson-Walsh OBE – Inspirational Leadership

Each speaker has generously donated their time to support the cause, offering sessions either remotely or, where possible, in person. Suggested minimum bids start at £500, with all funds contributing to vital research and support services.

Bidding will take place during the event, with winners notified following the close of the auction.
